Afternoon Calm at the Vestrahorn

VESTRAHORN - Vestrahorn Iceland also goes by the name of Vesterhorn or Stokksnes. It lies in Vatnajökull National Park in southern Iceland. Regardless of what the mountain is named, the dramatic landscape that surrounds the mountain area is breathtaking. The sea creates a series of sand dunes which are constantly being reshaped and reformed. This image was captured early one morning when first light hit the Vestrahorn peaks. In my opinion, this mountain epitomizes the beauty of Iceland.

This process is a dye-sublimation ink transfer to white, sheer or matte finishes on aluminum. This modern presentation plays up the unique boldness of metal with a super gloss finish. The back has a 1/2" recessed backing with a concealed French cleat hanger to give it a floating effect when mounted on the wall
